Quasar Quartet premiere of From the bench of shadow
On February 2 the Quasar saxophone quartet gave the world premiere of From the bench of shadow, commissioned by them with financial assistance from the Canada Council. Molinari Quartet performances of String Quartet No.3

On January 12 Ian Hodges and Charlene Pauls gave the world premiere of Las Blancas Sombras, for soprano and guitar. The work is a setting of poems by Antonio Machado, and was commissioned with financial assistance from the Manitoba Arts Council. The Language of Water premieres in Winnipeg
